Inauguration function of Vinoba Puri Sub-Branch Library held on 31-03-2009 (Tuesday). Inauguration function was presided by the Smt. Sailaja Chandra, Chairperson of Delhi Library Board. Vinoba Puri Library provide computerized library services, free lending services and a modernized Children Section. Library is going to start Free Internet and Free DVD/CD Lending services very soon for the members. The library is in close proximity to Lajpat Nagar and South Extension. Delhi Public Library (DPL) made it's catalogue online with Koha open-source library software for the benefit of readers. Users from across the world and DPL members can now access the most current catalogue of Delhi Public Library system at http:// www.dpl.gov.in/ or http://www.delhipubliclibrary.in/
