The Central Library of Delhi public library is located at S.P.Mukherjee Marg, Opp. old Delhi railway station, Delhi-6. This is the first library of Delhi Public Library started in the year 1951. The library consists of Circulation Section for Adults, Children Section, Reference Section, Social Education Department, Extension Department and Reading Room. This library is also having two Auditoriums namely "Amir Khusro and Geetanjali". Which can be hired for programs. The total covered area of this library is 5890sq, mts.
